Will my conservatory require planning permission?

Our representatives are fully up to date with planning permission rules and guidelines and will be able to advise you when discussing your requirements. Most conservatories do not require planning permission, but this depends on the size and design of your proposed conservatory.

What happens after we sign up?

After you sign up for any of our products or services, we will then arrange a site visit from a surveyor. They will accurately measure and finalise your designs and also be able to confirm installation dates as well.

How safe is my guarantee?

Every installation we complete is fully covered by our 10 year insurance-backed guarantee. This ensures that your Excellent Windows guarantee lives on, even in the unlikely event that we should stop trading.

What happens to the guarantee if we move house?

Your Excellent Windows guarantee, for a nominal fee, can be transferred to the new property owners. So not only does you guarantee carry on, this also gives you an added benefit when presenting your property to potential buyers. If your looking to transfer over an existing guarantee, just get in touch.

How long will my installation last?

Many window and door installation companies speak of their PVC-U products ‘lasting a lifetime’ because, unlike traditional wood, there is no rotting or warping to limit their life span. That said, the industry standard for a ‘lifetime’ is 35 years.

Other installation materials such as aluminium can last much longer.
