Aluminium Windows

These energy efficient and stylish windows are harder wearing than hardwood or uPVC and come in a huge range of styles, sizes and colours.

The clever technology used in these windows means less heat loss from your home despite using thinner frames to improve light.

With lower heat loss comes lower heating bills and the durable frame will extend the life of your windows.

Casement Windows

Casement windows have a swinging panel which can open vertically or horizontally.

This popular choice of window looks striking with its curves and slender sightlines but also features one of the most technically advanced frames available.

We also offer French casement windows which have no central strut (known as a mullion), allowing you to open both through 90 degrees to really open up the room and maximise views.

French casements are also a good option for smaller windows where a central mullion would be undesirable.

Energy Efficient

As energy prices rise and we all feel the need to minimise our regular outgoings, energy efficient windows are a good way to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Our energy efficient windows come highly recommended by the Energy Savings Trust. In fact, Our VEKA windows use the latest glass technology and uPVC innovations and are renowned for innovation. In fact, they created the UK’s first BRFC ‘A’ rated window and the first fully reinforced double-glazed window to gain the prestigious ‘A’ rating.

About Window Energy Ratings

The BFRC (British Fenestration Ratings Council) rating system is designed to determine a window’s thermal efficiency on a recgonised scale and is displayed as a colour-coded style label with a scale from ‘A’ (the most efficient windows) – to ‘G’ (the least).

It provides a quick demonstration of windows energy efficiency based on an industry-wide scale.

Our ‘A’ rated windows are actually energy-positive. This means that they actually absorb more energy into the house than they let out.

If you are looking to improve the energy efficiency of your home, your windows are one of the key areas that will make a difference.

Timber Windows

If you prefer a traditional timber window, or perhaps are required to by local restrictions, then we are pleased to offer you a great solution.

Our softwood timber framed windows are protected by a factory-applied Boron Preservative which is guaranteed against rot and fungal attack for 35 years (if maintenance and care advice is followed.)

If using the most environmentally friendly materials is important to you, then wooden frames are an excellent choice.

Tilt & Turn Windows

This style of window is often seen in homes in Europe and is often chosen for its ease of operation and cleaning.

Available as an option in several frames, tilt and turn allows you to open the window inwards, allowing easier cleaning and ideal where an emergency escape is needed.

These windows are also popular with families with small children because of the ability to open with just a slight tilt to allow fresh air in, while avoiding the risk of an open window.

Sash Windows

A great option which closely replicates the stylish look of a regency window with a vertical sliding system; ideal for those windows that would otherwise open outward into a restricted space such as a passageway.

These beautiful windows combine classic elegance with modern design and materials.

Sash windows are often a requirement in conservation areas and the Excellent Windows team can advise you on this and other local regulations.
